The Department of “Surgery” at GKMC/BKMC-MTI organized a Clinicopathological Conference (CPC) at the BKMC-MTI Auditorium Hall. The Topic was “Spondylolisthesis: Concepts and Challenges”. An exceptional presentation delivered by Dr. Shahid Akbar, Resident Surgeon at BKMC-MTI.
During the CPC, Dr. Shahid Akbar delivered an outstanding presentation that provided valuable insights into various aspects of spondylolisthesis. He covered historical aspects, definitions, basic and relevant anatomical structures, and much more. Dr. Shahid Akbar further expanded on the topic by discussing classifications, concepts of instability in spondylolisthesis, interpretation, conservative management, operative treatment, diagnosis, and available treatment options.
Dr. Shahid Akbar's presentation was comprehensive, encompassing surgical goals, operative options, risk factors, diagnostic techniques, and the array of treatment choices available for spondylolisthesis.
