Community Medicine Delegation from GKMC-MTI visited the Alam Abad Swabi Project

Swabi: On the recommendation of the Dean/CEO of GKMC/BKMC-MTI, a delegation consisting of GKMC-MTI students, led by the Head of the Department (HOD) Community Medicine, Assistant Prof. Dr. M. Sajjad, visited the "ALAM ABAD WELFARE TOWN" project in Swabi on Friday, March 8, 2024.
Under the umbrella of the Alam Abad welfare town project, there is the "KORT Educational Complex," "Rashada Butt Educational Complex," "Alkhidmat Farzana Shahnawaz Hospital," "Community Center," and "Masjid Mustafa," all run under the supervision of the "Rashid Memorial Welfare Organization."
The purpose of the visit was to establish a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Alam Abad Project Management regarding health, research, and other collaborative activities between GKMC-MTI, Swabi, and Alam Abad Welfare Town. Both the delegation and the Alam Abad welfare town administration reached an agreement, and a formal MOU signing ceremony will be held soon at GKMC-MTI, Swabi.
During the visit, the delegation visited every department of Alam Abad welfare town, including the KORT Educational Complex, Alkhidmat Farzana Shahnawaz Hospital, and Rashada Butt Educational Complex.
Associate Dean of Research, Dr. M. Sajjad, HOD of Community Medicine, commended the administration's dedication to providing education and healthcare to orphaned children. He assured them of full support in the future, expressing that his team, along with himself, would extend assistance in various aspects.
