Department of Community Medicine
The Department of Community Medicine at Gajju Khan Medical College, Swabi, is dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of individuals and communities through education, research, and service. Our mission is to equip future doctors with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to address public health challenges and improve community health outcomes.
We emphasize preventive medicine, epidemiology, biostatistics, and health system management, integrating classroom learning with hands-on field experiences. Through community outreach programs, health surveys, and research initiatives, our department fosters a deep understanding of the social determinants of health and the importance of evidence-based practice.
Our committed faculty continuously strive to develop compassionate, competent, and socially responsible medical professionals who can contribute effectively to Pakistan’s healthcare system.
